Gosh, sorry for that late answer! I haven't been here for ages.
It's more like a concept I have. I'm not really good at storytelling, so I wrote a paragraph about her in my Russian blog. In brief: her monster child was stolen by the king of the firm land and she gone mad and started wrecking ships of that kindom in hopes to find her child. At the time the kingdom was tottering to its fall because of merchant loss and decision to bring back the Devil's child finally dawned upon the king. But it was too late, she completely lost it and she didn't recognize her child. What a sad demise.
Oh my, sorry for my English, in Russian it sounds much better
I was afraid it wouldn't seem like water at all. It was hard to strike a balance between heaviness on the one hand and steamy feeling on the other hand, so I was very happy to read your comment. Thank you!
Your work is so fantastic. I was just looking back at the Sandman one today. Such a gorgeous, ethereal quality to this fantasy series, I love it. : D It makes me think of older children's illustrations, from the 19th century.
